We strive to contribute to our local community in various ways. From work experience placements for local high school pupils to large annual dog shows.
Many primary schools in the local area have asked our team to visit to meet the children and teach important lessons; such as dog safety and first aid for animals.
School Visits to Us
For what we think is the best school trip ever some classes get a tour of our animal hospital and get to meet all of the animals on our ward - not to mention all of the staff animals that come to work every day!

Charity Events
Our team reguarly take part in charity events of all sorts. Particularly when the charity is close to our hearts.
For instance, we recently had a Macmillan cake sale - most importantly, we had dog friendly cakes! They didn't last long...
Charity Dog Show
With the support of Chorley Council, every year we run the enourmous 'Hillcrest Dog Show'. With tonnes of competitions and stalls, it's always guarenteed to be a blast for the whole family - pets especially!
We usually run the dog show in August - so keep your eyes peeled for adverts around the time.
